Our healthy eating solution is just as simple and self explanatory as all of our other methods. Those simple 3 words just make life so much easier, “Don’t Be Stupid”.
Let’s talk about diet and losing weight. This is the question you need to ask yourself before each meal if you want to lose weight, “Would it be smart or stupid for me to eat this?” It’s so simple.
Think about it, your entire life you have been taught the basics of healthy eating.
Let’s list a few things:
Smart
WATER (notice the capital letters for added emphasis)
Vegetables
Fruits
Meat
Grains and pasta
Nuts
Moderation
Stupid
SODA (notice the capital letters for added emphasis)
Candy
Potato Chips
Fast Food
Desserts
Anything in excess - That’s right, no matter what you eat you need to make sure that you are not eating a stupid amount of it.
Now let’s talk about exercise and losing weight. Healthy eating will help in the beginning, but you have to add exercise to make the whole thing effective. Once again it’s a very simple question, “If I want to lose weight would it be smart or stupid for me to sit on the couch and watch TV all day?”
Even something as simple as taking a 15 minute walk a day will be much smarter than having no physical activity at all.
And now we will finish up with a discussion on stupid diet ideas.
Diet pills. Where to begin? If someone told you that they had a pill that would completely change the look of your face and make you as a beautiful as any model or TV star what would you say? I would say, “Wow! You’re stupid!” So how exactly is someone smart for telling you that they have a pill that will completely change the look of your body and make you skinny?
Weight Watchers. Sure, plenty of people lose weight with Weight Watchers. But is it smart or stupid to starve yourself at lunch so that you will have enough “points” to eat whatever you want for dinner?
Low anything diets. Your body needs calories, fat, and carbohydrates. So would it be smart or stupid to cut them out of your diet? Moderation is key.
